This website provides an overview of my research interests, teaching philosophy and experience, and community projects. I investigate relationships among citizens, organizations, and the academy in order to better understand and mobilize the use of new and existing knowledge to create healthy and sustainable communities.
My research and educational interests are interdisciplinary, fully participatory, and sensitive to local problems.
My goal for teaching and academic programming is the development of synergistic relationships among classroom instruction, research, and community programs.
My publications are in the areas of sustainability education and sport mega-events.
The aim of my research is to generate knowledge that can be mobilized to create healthy and sustainable communities.
